Fort Worth Housing Solutions has recently unveiled Cowan Place Senior Living, a 174-unit affordable and age-restricted community located in Fort Worth, Texas. This development is part of Phase I of the Stop Six Choice Neighborhood Initiative, a comprehensive plan aimed at enhancing the Stop Six neighborhood through the provision of affordable housing and neighborhood amenities.
According to data from Yardi Matrix, financing for this project included a $20 million loan from Trinity River Public Facility Corp., facilitated by BOKF Bank. Additionally, Mason Joseph Co. provided a $15.7 million HUD loan while Forth Worth Housing Solutions self-financed with an additional $9 million construction loan.
The four-story building offers one- and two-bedroom floorplans ranging from 596 to 900 square feet each. Residents can enjoy various common-area amenities such as a fitness center, community room, courtyard area, library space,salon services,recreation room,theater,and four laundry facilities all within controlled access premises.The senior living community also includes designated areas for private meetings with healthcare professionals.
This new addition to Fort Worth’s housing options provides much-needed affordable housing options for residents aged 62 years or older without compromising on quality or comfort.
