According to RentCafe’s analysis of more than 900 U.S. zip codes, three Seattle metro areas have made it into the top 50 for having the highest number of newly completed apartments between 2018 and 2022.

The area with the most apartments is Redmond, which has seen a surge of 5,121 new units delivered in just five years. Additionally, both North Downtown Seattle and along its shoreline have also made it onto this list.

Other popular neighborhoods such as Queen Anne and South Lake Union have also contributed significantly to this rise in apartment construction by adding a total of 4,780 new rentals over the same time period.
